Hey there, I’m Louis Kent. I am a film and video Cinematographer, Editor, and Director, based in New York City.

My filmmaking journey started at the age of fourteen when I first got a laptop with iMovie, and the rest is history. I filmed, edited, and produced video content for the coming years until it turned into my passion and my career.

From there I went to Syracuse University in the College of Visual and Performing Arts, earning a B.F.A. in Film in 2018. Since then I have been working as a Cinematographer, Editor, and Director on short films, feature films, and other forms of video content.

My personal work has been spread through short films, and comedic sketches. But my goal is to make feature length films.

My goal with any piece of work is to help tell the strongest story possible through evocative imagery that pulls in an audience member, a viewer, or a prospective customer/client.
